Job description
The Educational Consultant, will support the development and advancement of the brand, in both an online and face-to-face environment. The Consultant is responsible for converting initial intakes into site visits and will manage and track client relationships and satisfaction throughout. You will also provide direct treatment to clients.
Under the direction of the marketing director, responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
· Lead and act as a resource to the team about break-through programs, in-house training of new and present staff and other aspects of special education and learning disorders
· Performs on-going review of organizational performance and recommends areas or approaches for improving activities and performing new procedures.
· Assist with departmental operations (scheduling, recordkeeping, safety/maintenance of supplies and equipment)
· Maintains and secures client files and organizational information
· Assist with public education events and center open houses and with all projects run and organized by the organization
· Actively participate in all in person meetings, training conferences and open houses as scheduled and participates in continuing education activities
· Understands, adheres to and models Core Standards and code of ethics as defined organizationally and specifically within your role
· Assist in the planning and execution of the Summer program and Winter program
· Coordinate smaller projects within the overall project
· Minimal travel may be required for this role
· Position involves 2 evenings per week
· Pick up an take care of students if necessary or required by the program
· Compensation is competitive
The position is part-time to start (approximately 20 hours per week) increasing to full-time. The candidate is required immediately.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a team player and will have the following qualifications and skills:
· Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent
· Experience working with students, prefer experience working with foreign students
· Advanced computer and technical skills (MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
· Advanced English skills in writing and speaking
· Fluent Mandarin Chinese
· Ability to balance work on multiple projects simultaneously
· Entrepreneurial minded
· Excellent organizational, self-directional and interpersonal skills
